Information We Collect

• Account information you provide (first name, last name, email).
• Content you submit in app features (such as prayer requests and announcements if you are authorized to post them).
• Device push token for notifications (if you allow notifications).
• Basic app/device context used for reliability and support.

How We Use Information

• To create and manage accounts, login sessions, and password reset.
• To provide church features, including prayer request workflows and role-based visibility (for example, leader-only requests).
• To send notifications (for announcements and approved prayer requests).
• To maintain security, detect abuse, and improve app reliability.

Notifications

If enabled, we may send push notifications to your device. Some notifications are audience-specific based on account role (for example, leader-only prayer request notifications are intended for leaders).

Profile Photos and On-Device Storage

If you choose a profile photo, it is stored locally on your device for your account in the app. We do not currently upload profile photos to the backend as part of this feature.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share data with service providers used to operate the app (such as email or push notification infrastructure), or when required by law, or to protect safety, rights, and security.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal/security obligations. You can delete your account in Settings within the app. Certain records may be retained where required for operations, safety, or legal compliance.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., password hashing, transport encryption) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your Choices

• Update your name and reset your password in Settings (in the app).
• Enable or disable notifications in your device settings.
• Delete your account in Settings (in the app).
• Contact support about account or privacy questions.

Children's Privacy

The app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us to remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or via email. Your continued use of the app means you accept the updated Policy.
